Marie Marchand

Marie Marchand is a professional facilitator and a certified mediator with 20 years of experience working in the field of international cooperation. In 2020 she founded a-zimut consulting Ltd. to support public and non-profit actors in transversal knowledge sharing and collective learning for sustainable development.

A Swiss citizen, Marie started her carrier in international cooperation with the United Nations Development Program in Pakistan. She worked subsequently with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation for over 15 years, holding various senior positions at policy and operational levels.

Marie is proficient in a vast set of methodologies supporting collective learning, dialog and co-creation. A Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, she is currently completing her education in Non Violent Communication (NVC).

Marie holds a MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of the University of Geneva and a post-graduate certificate in General Mediation from the University of Freiburg, Switzerland.
